🌍 Protecting Critical Wildlife Habitat
Now is the time to protect the Maasai Mara.
Less than half of the greater Mara ecosystem is under government protection. The rest – including critical wildlife habitats – depends entirely on local communities and private conservation efforts.

To secure land for nature, we lease it directly from Maasai landowners through long-term agreements. This model ensures that the land remains undeveloped and protected as habitat for wildlife – especially for vulnerable species like lions, cheetahs, and elephants.
Land is the foundation. Without protected, connected landscapes, there is no future for Africa’s iconic megafauna. No land means no space to hunt, no safe places to give birth, no migration routes, and no balance between people and wildlife.
Yet land is under pressure. Every year, more plots are sold for agriculture, infrastructure, or commercial development – often fragmenting habitats and threatening the long-term survival of entire species.
We must act now.
Support community-led conservation and help protect the land that gives life to the Mara’s wildlife.
The future of our great animals depends on it.
