👨🏾🍳 Education Youth in Culinary, IT & Mechanics
The Program
We believe that conservation must go hand in hand with empowerment. That’s why we work closely with local Maasai communities, vocational educators, and international supporters to build lasting, practical solutions for people living in and around the Maasai Mara.
Through our Vocational Education Initiative, we provide young Maasai with real opportunities:
-
Culinary Arts School, training chefs for Kenya’s top camps and restaurants
-
Language Programs, offering English and German for career mobility
-
IT & Business Studies, equipping youth and teachers with modern tools and entrepreneurial thinking
- And in 2024, a Mechanics School to train the next generation of skilled technicians

These programs do more than create jobs they create alternatives. Alternatives to poaching. Alternatives to early marriage. Alternatives to land-use decisions that harm nature.
By investing in local skills, we reduce pressure on wildlife and ensure that the people who share the land with elephants, lions, and cheetahs can also share in the benefits of a thriving ecosystem. Empowered people protect what they know and love. Support education. Support conservation.
